The best sushi and ramen for an affordable price I’ve ever had in Houston honestly. Their ramen lives up to the hype and especially their sushi is extremely fresh as well as their rice. I would highly recommend the roll special and I like the quaint vibe to the place as it’s quite small and looks like as traditional sushi place in Japan.

Tamashi has been recommended to me several times, so I figured it was time that I finally try it! For my appetizer, I ordered the Avocado Bomb and oh my gosh! This was my favorite thing out of my entire meal! I’ll be ordering this every time I go! Then I ordered their Spicy Ramen. I’m not a ramen connoisseur or anything, but now that it’s colder, something hot sounded nice! I loved the broth and it had such a nice kick to it. Lastly, I tried their Sex and the City sushi roll! They had so many sushi options to choose from, but their menu said this roll was their most popular, and I can definitely understand why! It was one of the best sushi rolls I’ve ever had! Overall, I had a really good experience. I’m actually quite sad that it took me this long to try it! The food was phenomenal and the customer service was good. They weren’t busy at all, which was a little surprising since it was Saturday at lunch time.

Really amazing food. The best I've had in New Mexico. We went on a Friday evening, it was really busy. I gotta say the staff were really nice, good people, but, service was slooooow. I don't know why, did our server forget us, was the kitchen that backed up, I really don't know. And overall it doesn't matter, it was a great meal with my wife and son. I just point it out so y'all know that service can be slow, so you may want to take that into consideration if you're in a hurry. If you have the time, I highly recommend this place.

I am so glad I came here. The food was amazing. We ordered the Red Rocks as an appetizer (spicy tuna over crispy rice) and I loved it because the spicy tuna on top was actually spicy. We also ordered the BTS roll and the Pork Cutlet Curry. The BTS roll is a great roll if you love truffle since it is packed with truffle and salmon on top. The Japanese curry was big in portion. I had to take half to go for a second meal. Service and food was great but if I had one thing to say, it would be that the oil the crispy rice and pork cutlet were fried in, needed to be changed or cleaned out. Thank you and we will be back again!

Absolutely the best sushi in NM! Sex in the city with the jalapeno sex crunch on top! Phenomenal!! Seriously add it to your fav sushi! Let’s talk about the pork curry! Oh my! Delish!! Perfectly made every single time! Oh and the service....spot on! Clean restaurant and ALWAYS busy! You won’t be disappointed!! Love. This. Place.

I have spent entirely too much money at this place, but only because they're THAT good. I've had the takoyaki, the miso soup, the tonkotsu ramen, the crispy dragon roll, this one limited edition January roll, and I've probably eaten half my weight in sashimi at this point. All of it is FANTASTIC. The sashimi is very fresh, some of it is very rich-tasting, which is telling of the quality in my opinion. This is also one of the few places in town that serves kizami wasabi which is leagues better than the paste stuff you're probably used to. The ramen is also fantastic, highly suggest it as well as the takoyaki. The staff are also very polite, very personable. Pictured: the 15 piece chef's choice sashimi, and the tonkotsu ramen.

Our family had the most AMAZING time! 1st time with MANY MORE visits to come!! The food was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious! Our server was on top of it with a great sense of humor and personality! This was our daughter's 2nd try at sushi and she said this place was FANTASTIC!! Thank you and your team for treating us to such an phenomenal lunch and time!! We will be back!! Ps the TV screens that show pictures of items from your menu and beautiful drinks were a win! People eat with their eyes and those pictures of your menu gave us insight on what to order next!!! Music was on-point!!! Great Vibes!!! Job well done Tamashi!! You are now our families favorite sushi spot!

We were celebrating a very special occasion and we chose Tamashi. We went to the new one first, and they directed us to the original location because the inventory of fish was better. That was the truth, and it reflects well on the staff and management of the brand. We were fortunate to have Kenny as our chef. He was amazing! He actually prepared dishes I had never had before, which is hard because I've eaten sushi around the world. He just really was exceptional and made our night. The entire staff was friendly and attentive. Definitely go to Tamashi if you're looking for GOOD sushi in Albuquerque.
